Deadlines for submitting tax returns and payment of the second installment of temporary taxation for the year 2020

The following have been voted by the House of Representatives:

• The deadline for submitting a tax return of self-employed with a turnover of more than € 70 thousand and Cyprus companies, for the tax year 2019 is June 30, 2021.
• The submission of the tax return for the year 2020 by individuals is extended until September 30, 2021
• The deadline for submitting an employer tax return (TD7) (employees declaration) for 2020 is extended until September 30, 2021.
• The deadline for payment of the second installment of temporary taxation for the tax year 2020 which ended on December 31, 2020, is extended until September 30, 2021, without the imposition of any penalties.
